Portrait Session in Charlotte
We met at Midtown Park in Charlotte, NC a couple hours before sunset. It was a perfect evening and we had plenty of time to chit chat, take photos in several different locations, and even had time for an outfit change.
As a homeschooling, mother of four, Tess understands the importance of time dedicated to her own mental health. Adulthood and parenthood are hard enough without the added stress that the last two years have brought on. Dedicating a couple of hours to herself allowed her to relax, focus on her body and mind, and create memories she and her family can cherish forever.
Every now and then you meet an individual so full of life, you can’t help but to get sucked in to their world. I had such an amazing time with Tess during her portrait session. It is so fun to collaborate with other creatives and encourage growth. Having a portrait session is a form of self care and love. We all lead busy lives and it’s so important to take some time away from our children, pets, other adults we care for and to focus on ourselves. This session was exactly that for Tess.
You may feel a little apprehensive to take photos by yourself, with no one to interact with but the camera. I provide all my clients with not only styling assistance but also direction in posing. It is difficult to know sometimes what to do with your hands and body when standing alone. Check out this post for some tips to get you comfortable and ready for your own portrait session.
Whether you need new branding photos, resume related photos, or would like to invest in yourself and this moment in time that you’re in, an individual portrait session is the perfect creative experience.
